EU Right of Withdrawal

This page explains the right of withdrawal for eligible customers in the European Union who buy online from Becci’s Bridal Designs. It should be read alongside the Returns, Exchanges & Cancellations policy.

Nothing on this page affects your rights where goods are faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described.

Your right to withdraw

For eligible goods, you have the right to withdraw from your contract without giving a reason within 14 days.

The withdrawal period ends 14 days after the day on which you, or a person you nominate other than the carrier, takes physical possession of the goods. If one order is delivered in separate parcels or pieces, the period ends 14 days after you receive the final parcel or piece.

To exercise this right, you must tell me clearly that you have decided to withdraw before the 14-day period ends.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from an eligible contract, I will reimburse payments received from you for the returned goods, including the cost of the least expensive standard delivery option offered for your order. Any additional amount paid for express or upgraded delivery will not be reimbursed.

The refund will be made without undue delay and no later than 14 days after I am informed of your decision to withdraw. I may withhold the refund until I have received the goods back or you provide evidence that you have sent them, whichever happens first.

The refund will be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction, unless we expressly agree otherwise. You will not be charged a refund fee.

Returning the goods

Send the goods back without undue delay and no later than 14 days after telling me that you wish to withdraw. Please contact me first so I can confirm the correct return address and instructions.

You are responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods. Use a tracked and suitably insured service, retain proof of postage, and mark the customs declaration “Returned goods – no commercial value” where appropriate.

You may inspect the goods as you reasonably would in a shop. You are responsible only for any reduction in value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

When the right of withdrawal does not apply

The 14-day change-of-mind right does not apply to:

• goods made to your individual specifications or clearly personalised, including names, dates, custom wording, personal photographs and genuinely bespoke details;

• made-to-measure items;

• sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health or hygiene reasons once you have broken the seal; or

• digital content once supply has begun after you expressly consented to immediate supply and acknowledged losing the right of withdrawal, where applicable.

A standard design is not excluded merely because it is handmade or created after the order is placed. These exceptions also do not remove your rights if goods are faulty, incorrect or not as described.
