The finished position will vary depending on the wearer's height, the shape of the gown and where the clips are attached. Measurements refer to the approximate length of the cape when laid flat.
How it attaches
This cape does not attach to the hair and does not fasten around the neck. A small clip beneath each gathered end attaches to the straps or upper edge of your dress, allowing the tulle to drape softly across the back.
Please check that your gown has a suitable, secure attachment point. If you are unsure whether the cape will work with your dress, send a clear photograph of the back of the gown before ordering.
Production time
This cape is handmade to order. Please allow approximately 3–4 weeks for it to be created before dispatch. If you need it by a particular date, contact me before ordering so I can confirm availability.
Packaging and delivery
Your cape will be carefully wrapped in acid-free tissue paper and boxed for delivery.
All orders are sent using a tracked service. UK orders are normally dispatched with Royal Mail Tracked 48, with available upgrades shown at checkout. International orders are sent using an international tracked service.
Care
Store the cape hanging where possible. Any light creasing from delivery can usually be released by allowing it to hang in a steamy room or by gently steaming from a safe distance. Do not place an iron directly onto the tulle or pearls.
As every cape is handmade, slight variations in pearl placement may occur and form part of its individual character.
